Where does good winegrowing start? With the soil, the soil, and again the soil. We nourish our soil with natural humus and do not allow artificial irrigation. As a result, the vines’ roots grow down into deeper soil strata where they find all the water and nutrients they need. With additional greening and deliberate tilling of the soil, we not only work to the benefit of the vines and the wines, but also promote the healthy life of the soil, and in so doing create habitats for insects – because anything and everything that is in balance can only be good. Our exceptional, award-winning wines prove this stance is the right one – their strong characters are testament to that.
