2020 Grauburgunder Gutswein dry
We pick the grapes for our estate wines from our younger vineyards and from vineyards that are not on the Petersberg in Gau-Odernheim. The first early harvest of our local wine vineyards also come into the Gutswein.
The wine: Classic Pinot Gris with a fine, elegant minerality. The wine has a pleasantly soft acidity, nice melting with a fine spice.

The harvest is followed by a short maceration of 6 to 12 hours. The musts remain unadorned and are fermented spontaneously with the grape's own yeast in stainless steel. The fermented wines also remain unadorned until they are filled on the yeast.
